Tom Lau

Since 2019, Tom Lau has diligently applied Lean methodologies to restructure retirement operations, creating mutual benefits for both Envoy Financial and its clients. As Director, he manages Third-party Administration, Recordkeeping, and Client Services, with a dedicated focus on enhancing value for plan sponsors and participants while nurturing a culture of collaboration, accountability, and staff development. Under his leadership, Envoy Financial maintains seamless operations that consistently meeting high service standards, illustrating the company's commitment to continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
Before joining Envoy Financial, Tom had diverse industry experience in hospitality, banking, marketing, and non-profit sectors. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wales, UK, and is credentialed as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and possesses a FINRA Series 65 license. He is currently pursuing a QKA designation from ASPPA.

Outside of work, Tom finds fulfillment in family life, residing in Colorado Springs with his wife and three children. He has a passion for exploring different cuisines and cultures. King David holds a special place as his favorite biblical character, while the Book of Proverbs serves as a profound source of inspiration, molding his principles and character.
